Program Focus

The program is designed to enhance participants' knowledge of neuroradiology through supervised clinical exposure. This includes:

• Diagnostic Neuroimaging: Exposure to brain and spine MRI and CT protocols, including advanced techniques like perfusion imaging, spectroscopy, and diffusion tensor imaging for neuro-oncology and neurodegenerative conditions.

• Acute Stroke and Emergency Neuroradiology: Insight into hyperacute stroke imaging pathways, interpretation of CT angiograms and CT perfusions, and participation in the multidisciplinary triage for mechanical thrombectomy and intracranial hemorrhage management.

• Interventional Neuroradiology: Observation of endovascular procedures such as cerebral aneurysm coiling, carotid stenting, and spinal interventions, alongside understanding the peri-procedural care and safety protocols in the neuro-interventional suite.

Upon completion of the clinical attachment, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of neuroradiology services within an NHS hospital in the UK. The program aims to strengthen theoretical knowledge of neuro-anatomy, improve familiarity with advanced imaging workflows, and enhance understanding of best practices in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology within the UK healthcare system.

• Support for Your Visa Application: Once accepted, you will receive an invitation letter from the host hospital. This letter is a crucial document that will assist you with your visa application, as it provides official confirmation of your training placement in the UK.

• Required Documents: To apply, you must submit the following documents:

  2. University Diploma.

  3. Specialty Diploma (Resident doctors are also eligible to apply).

  4. Any other international exam results you may have.

  5. English Test Result if available.
