This Clinical Attachment in Maternity Care is designed to provide healthcare professionals with structured clinical exposure to maternity services, focusing on understanding maternal and neonatal care pathways within a hospital setting.


Program Focus

The program is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge of maternity care through supervised clinical exposure. This includes:

  • Antenatal Care:Exposure to routine and high-risk antenatal clinics, pregnancy assessments, fetal monitoring, antenatal screening processes, and patient counseling practices.

  • Intrapartum Care:Insight into labor ward operations, monitoring of normal and complex deliveries, interpretation of fetal monitoring, pain management strategies, and multidisciplinary decision-making during labor.

  • Postnatal and Neonatal Care:Understanding postnatal ward care, maternal recovery assessments, newborn examinations, breastfeeding support, and early recognition of postnatal complications.

  • Comprehensive Maternity Management:Overview of maternity care pathways from antenatal booking to postnatal discharge, including multidisciplinary teamwork, clinical documentation, safeguarding principles, and adherence to national maternity guidelines.


Expected Outcome

Upon completion of the clinical attachment, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of maternity services within an NHS hospital in the UK. The program aims to strengthen theoretical knowledge, improve familiarity with clinical workflows, and enhance understanding of best practices in maternal and neonatal care within the UK healthcare system.


General information


  • Application to the Program: You can expect to receive a decision on your application within 4 to 6 weeks after you submit it.

  • Visa Application Timeline: To ensure you have enough time for the visa process, you must apply to the program at least 4 months before your intended start date. This is a critical step, as obtaining a UK visa can take time.

  • Support for Your Visa Application: Once accepted, you will receive an invitation letter from the host hospital. This letter is a crucial document that will assist you with your visa application, as it provides official confirmation of your training placement in the UK.

Tuition and Fees

  • Application Fee: £500

  • Training Fee: £5,000


The training fees include

  • Hospital training fees and completion certificate

  • Accommodation in residential structure (room with single mattress with bed linin, water, electricity, Wi-Fi, kitchen with fridge stove with utensils, toilet and shower, clothes washing)

  • London Subway ‘Oyster’ travel card (where applicable)

  • Hospital uniforms where applicable

  • Hospital HR documents

  • Airport transfers

  • Visa invitation letters Supervision for participants daily learning and living

  • 24/7 emergency contact services



Application Process and Requirements

  • Required Documents: To apply, you must submit the following documents:

    1. Your Curriculum Vitae (CV).

    2. University Diploma.

    3. Specialty Diploma (Resident doctors are also eligible to apply).

    4. Any other international exam results you may have.

    5. English Test Result if available.


We have partnerships with many hospitals around UK. Evaluation process takes from 30 to 45 days, if you have been accepted, we will send you the acceptance letter from the hospital, then you have to complete the payment.

The payment process:

  • Application Fee: An initial fee of £500 is required at the time of application submission.

  • Training Fee The remaining £5,000 for the training program is expected to be paid after you have been officially accepted, received the hospital’s acceptance letter, and obtained your visa. Please note that the payment must be completed no later than 4 weeks before the start of the training program.




Certificate :

Upon successful completion of the training, you will be awarded a certificate directly from the host hospital.
